My niece the world traveler.

I found out where, exactly, my niece is teaching: Bingham Academy, in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

This is her second year there. Previously, she taught a year in Namibia after spending a semester there during her senior year of college. From there she also traveled to South Africa and Kenya.

She has also toured in China as a musician.

Can you tell I'm proud of her?

My sister sent the following in response to this post:

"Allison traveled to South Africa while she was in Namibia for the semester and for the year. While there for the year, she and 3 other girls rented a car, standard transmission (which she didn't know how to drive), and drove across Africa to Zambia and Zimbabwe to Victoria Falls. She went to all those countries in between.

"While in Ethiopia, she traveled to Kenya for Christmas vacation. She has been to Somalia and I can't remember what other countries south of Somalia while on vacation. Her passport is almost full of stamps. Mine has none....
"While on the cruise, Allison went to Haiti, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Mexico.
"Just thought I'd fill in the gaps."
